Citalopram, prescribed for ADHD
Opressor was prescribed citalopram, an SSRI. He says it was prescribed for ADHD without a proper diagnosis, and without any warning about possible side effects.
After he started, he says, he had severe emotional numbness and sexual dysfunction, and both got worse even after he stopped. Moral Medicine calls his condition Post-SSRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD).

- Seeing many doctors, including endocrinologists and neurologists, and finding little support or understanding.
- Doctors who, he says, dismissed his condition or diagnosed it as something else.
- Emotional, cognitive and physical impairment that he says has grown worse over six years.
- A deep loss of quality of life.
