Doug Bremner, a professor of psychiatry and radiology, talks about his Accutane brain-scan study, the pushback he says he faced and his book.

In a brain-imaging study, Doug Bremner compared 13 people taking isotretinoin (Accutane) with 15 taking an antibiotic, during treatment. He says it showed changes in a part of the brain called the orbitofrontal cortex.
